Boy, the line was very long in the mall but it was very worth it to get our annual picture with Santa!

Thanksgiving Dinner

Its a tradition every year to have Thanksgiving Dinner at our house with our friends. That means having to order early the pre-cooked turkey dinner so daddy does not have to work to hard during Thanksgiving Day! Its the one day a year that we actually eat turkey...just so we "feel" the spirit of the day!

Tempe Lobster Festival

The first annual Tempe Lobster Festival took place November 11-13 at Tempe Town Lake. The Tempe Lobster Festival featured real Maine Lobsters, flown in fresh daily and cooked in the world’s largest lobster copper steamers.

I want this one for lunch!

A day in Desert Breeze Park

One the most favorite things the kids want to do during the winter/spring time is to go to Desert Breeze Park. There, they enjoy riding the train around the park, playing in the playground equipments, riding the carousel and enjoying an ice cream at the end of the day.

Horsing around the elephant...in the summer time, this is the get soak area for the kids to cool off from the summer heat.

Enjoying the swing...

A ride on the carousel is always a blast for the kids!

Enjoying ice cream at the end of the day even during winter time...only in Arizona!

Christmas Tree Decorating Tradition

A new family tradition that we started a couple of years ago is to have the kids decorate our Christmas tree. The kids are always very excited on this tradition that we do just before Thanksgiving Day. As you can see, all the decorations are bunched up on the lower part of the tree! The kids are are always very proud of the work that they have done!
